Is there any real benefit to the oil?
I make my own magnesium oil from distilled water and epsom salts. It's good for sore joints, etc. The body does absorb magnesium from the magnesium oil, so it probably is beneficial.
As for essential oils, I really enjoy smelling them. They are somehow soothing. Because I try to avoid environmental toxins, I make my own deodorant, which utilizes essential oils of choice. Also when I get a massage, I like the massage therapist to use them in their regular oil. I don't know much more about the oils other than that, although I've read that peppermint oil is good for keeping spiders and bugs away. Don't know if it's true, but thought I'd throw it out.
But your's sound so much better. I will have to try it with the essential oils.
You can use whichever essentials oils you enjoy. I use a little lemongrass and peppermint, with more lavender. BTW, my deodorant is made from coconut oil, shea butter (food grade), and baking soda. I'm no "wonder," just good at surfing the net and finding the recipe online.
