It has almost been a year for me on weight watchers. I am 23.8 lbs lighter than I was this time last year. Its not much but I feel much better off than I did before. I make smarter choices now and really think about every food choice I make now. It didn't happen instantly for me, it took me almost a year to learn about myself and my eating behaviors and alot of trial and error to find a way of eating that gets me to lose or maintain my weight week to week. I have not yo yo dieted, crash dieted or binged in a long time now, I think its an improvement in my life. I have alot more weight to lose but taking it slow and learning about myself feels much more permanent than losing it quickly.
If it helps, try writting out your feelings at the end of each evening. Ask yourself if you have made any changes in the way you think of food or in a food choice that day. Write something nice to yourself every day and tell yourself that you are worth this effort of making better choices. Everyone deserves to have a chance at being healthy. It takes effort and commitment. Only you can decide to make it a reality in your own life. It takes alot of time, and the commitment will be for the rest of your life. Its worth it!
Thanks for sharing it.

If i don't plan out my day, and pack snacks, I will likely get famished until I give into a juicy fast (fat) food.
or i will be so hungry that i will be shoving food down my throat while cooking dinner. it doesn't matter if I make a healthy dinner if i scarf down 2 dinner rolls with extra butter... there goes 500 calories.
I try to eat every 3 hours.... but with 2 jobs, school and a 3 year old, sometimes its hard. I keep my car stocked with healthy snacks and it helps keep the fast food at bay...
Oh and Sobe Life Water (zero calories) is my favorite sweet indulgence, but at 0 calories... LOVE!
