Hello everybody! its been a little while so id thought id give an update. ill try to keep it short and sweet.
Well im down to 35mg of prednisone and I am cutting again to 30 next week which is an incredible accomplishment for me! the past three tapers came and went without any increase in symptoms, and next week I will be on exactly half the dose I started on. the taper process is so long but I am so happy to say im on 30mg and not 60!!
Also some big news for me. I went back to school! I was being homeschooled from September to mid January and last week I had my first day back at my high school as a junior! it wiped me out for the whole weekend and my second day back I had to leave early because my legs were weak and I was having trouble walking around the school. it left me feeling a little defeated for a day or two but I finally snapped out of it when I realized that even though I didn't have as much energy as I thought I would, I still went to school! that's a HUGE step and you have to embrace every victory you can get, no matter how small. honestly, I think getting out of bed is something to be proud of if you have mg so im extremely grateful to be able to go to school, even if its just for a couple hours. Also its my birthday today! and going to school was the best birthday present I could imagine (besides remission haha!)

You are such a strong young lady with a big heart. You have the drive of a herd of elephants which is awesome, just like you!!!!!!
Big hugs to you and keep us posted on how you are doing with your return to school. I know that you will do wonderfully but remember to have fun whenever you can.
