Not sure if your tight thigh muscles are directly due to MG. Sometimes, because our muscles tire so quickly, we change our walking style, which can put strain on muscles that otherwise wouldn't be a problem. The unusual gait can cause injury resulting in stiffness and pain.
Since you have this sometimes and other times don't, it may help to try to figure out if there is something that precedes the problem -- maybe walking a lot or other activity?
We often have other problems with MG, including other autoimmune diseases
and so one should always talk to other doctors who specialize in arthritis for example. Sometimes we blame MG for things that are not MG.
Does the stiffness include pain? If so, does aspirin or other pain killers help either with the pain or stiffness? All of these should be reported to your regular doctor and your neuro.
