The side effects of mestinon on a healthy person is muscle twitching and cramps and some stomach upset, so I suppose you could look for that with the baby. Since mestinon seems to be in and out of our body (at least the effects) in about 4 hours from taking the pill, you could take it right after breast feeding and then less should be in your body.
