Does anyone have experience breastfeeding while having to take mestinon?
It appears to be relatively safe and my daughters pediatrician said it should be fine but since there is so little known about the effects of breastfeeding while taking it, i was just wondering if anyone had any experience breastfeeding while taking mestinon.
The side effects of mestinon on a healthy person is muscle twitching and cramps and some stomach upset, so I suppose you could look for that with the baby. Since mestinon seems to be in and out of our body (at least the effects) in about 4 hours from taking the pill, you could take it right after breast feeding and then less should be in your body.
