Does anyone go to a support group for MG?  I have been thinking about, but kind of hesitant.

Certainly worth trying it. In my whole life I have only ever met in person one other person with MG. I got my support from this online group and others and met folks who have MG that way.

Unless you live near a larger population area, you probably don't even have support groups available. We are rare folks.

Here in Orlando we have a quite active, well attended support group that meets every other month. The group coordinator and her family do a great job organizing each meeting with guest speakers, medical information updates and food. For me, it was comforting to meet others that have the same rare disease, but more importantly, talk with others that understand and don’t roll their eyes when I want to talk about MG. I’d suggest looking online for a group near you, and see if you can attend at least one of their meetings.
