However, emotionally labile and irritable are totally part of the steroids. Google steroid psychosis for fun! I hope you can tolerate them! Just alert your family so they can be understanding!! Good luck

What got me out of it? It was pretty much noting that there were some things that would make it go away, where I'd be absorbed enough about something other than my anxiety that it would dissolve and I'd feel safe again.
I think you owe it to yourself to consider the possibility that what you're feeling might respond to getting your mind off of it - which is hard, but rewarding if you do in fact find that it can be alleviated that way.
A couple of weeks ago I actually wrote a post where I was worried if I could deal with the aide effects of prednisone, and can honestly sat that I felt worse (more anxious) about it before I started taking it than when I actually did start!
For me, if I'm under 20 mg. I'm fine. Everyone is different, but I would google effects of pred. just to be familiar with it.
