the flu shot will have some troubles happening, pricinpaly with we old fox, this is the second time that i got string reaction to it, being 79yrs, old it doesnt help.
with mg. my first reaction was 2 yrs ago, since for older people the flu shoot is stronger, expect the unespected,i was walking, sundenly my knees and leggs lock up and i end up in the ground.
my second one was last week as i got my shot whent home, and inmediatly i got light headed most like a vertigo, could not see straigh, and had to lay down, the mext morning i was fresh as always.
for all i would advise that you look at the following site, DRUGS.COMm type the name of the shot and you be able to look the side effect and overview,, each one of us are different, and this flu shoot, will act sunden and differnet each time. that way you be able to ctake control, and not wonder
as for the neumonia shoot, you sould not worry, i get mine every 5 yrs. and every thing is ok.

Do you mind me asking how long you have had MG?
thanks for the question, i welcome all of them thus maybe my experiences can provide some help

I have generalized MG, am on Cellcept and Mestinon with weekly plasmapheresis.
I had a flu shot a week ago. Although the doctor told me that it could cause an MG flare, I had no problem, except the usual sore arm for a couple days.
Also no problem with the pneumovax.
Thank you for your reply., hopefully I will have no issues either.
She also told me that it might not work very well for me because I was being immune suppressed (prednisone). The flu shot is supposed to get our immune system to ramp up and make antibodies to kill of the flu virus if we have contact with it. Because our immune system is being suppressed, she said it might not ramp up very much and might not make many of the protective anitbodies, but worth trying it anyway.
Good Luck
