CBD oil

In addition to MG I have osteoarthritis which has resulted in several surgeries. Back pain and I are on first name basis. At times neither my neurologist nor I know if a certain symptom is due to MG or back problems. He recently recommended I try CBD oil. Muscle twitches, which were really bothersome in upper and lower eyelids, are now rare. My knee has stopped collapsing. My emotional swings have leveled off and I feel in control again. I haven't achieved good pain relief for my back, but I'm pleased with the other effects. There might have been other discussions of this on here but I haven't found them. Just interested if anyone else is using CBD oil for MG or to lessen medication side effects?

With my MG I experience muscle spasms in legs and especially my shoulders and neck. I have been using cbd lotion and shea butter for a the last few weeks with very positive results. It improves my muscle pain about 90% which makes me so happy! I am able to do more physically. I use the cbd lotion everyday now and apply it about 2 to 3 times a day. I haven't taken an Advil or Tylenol since using the lotion . I'm thinking of trying the oil. Do you have any negative side effects from the oil?

No, I've had no negative side effects. Glad to hear you like the lotion. All I've used is the oil.

My neurologist was the one who recommended I try the CBD oil. At this time, we aren't able to buy CBD oil with THC where I live however many, many people are using the plain oil with much relief of many symptoms. It's a little pricey, but worth it. The trick is to find the dosage that works for you and to find the brand that works for you. It's important to be willing to work at it and not depend on what worked for someone else.
