in regard of your question, the first thing that i would suggest is to have a extented conversation with your neuro in regard of your meds. because it depends too, on the level of classification of yyour mg.
i myself came out of my worst relapse and today doing fine i am at the minimun of both meds, 30mgs dayli of mestidone and 5 mgs. of prednisone every other day
some time i skip both meds individualy couple of times a week.but only doing that after have taken cars of the 3 major problems that case cause spikes on mg., wich i have stated in manny blogs answers
stress, excertion, control of emotions.
also i would sugest that you check the following site as it is important for all to know, where all meds stands, overviews, side effects ect.
the site is drug.com
sometimes collitions neetwen drugs (incompatabilty) enters in play
best of luck (fighter)
