Still in shock ! Not the news we wanted to hear !
My sincere condolences go out to Curt's wife and his family !!!
Robin
I am so shocked and saddened by the passing of Curt! You are in my thoughts and prayers!
I joined DS after Curt had been diagnosed with the Lymphoma, but it did not take me long to become aware of this immensely beloved, feisty group member/leader named Curt. He seemed invincible to me, and not the kind of person I could picture being overcome by ANYTHING. His legacy will remain with this group because of the affect he has had on people's lives and all the archives that contain his postings.
I love the picture others here have verbalized... of Curt riding free on his motorcycle... and hope you will find comfort in the love expressed by the folks whose lives Curt touched.
With deepest sympathy,
Rosie

Elizabeth, Please accept my condolences and know that I will be praying for you and your family.
Carla, Your post was very well put. I, too, realize that this can and will sadden many of us and will cause us to take a look at life differently. I hope that we all will look at his contributions to us and MANY organizations and people as a blessing to this world. Maybe we can learn from all that he accomplished and be motivated by that instead of focusing on the negative.
We should live life to the fullest. MG is a serious disease, but there are many other things that are just as serious. Sometimes, it is difficult to deal with, but a positive attitude and outlook are worth more than money at times. We all should make the most of each day, enjoy and appreciate the small things, take the best care possible of ourselves and help others. Let's try to be motivated and encouraged by his advice and many posts and remember and admire him for the great fight he fought.
Thank you so much, Curt!
