My favorite thing today is Cutting a lemon in half and squeezing the juice into a cup of hot water. I've learned to enjoy it first thing in the morning. :-)

One of my oldest and best friends has been visiting me for 10 days and wants to stay longer. We are having the best time visiting and catching up after 25 years. She is enjoying the warm sunshine here and I am enjoying the company. It has been great!

My favorite thing today was the feeling of the ground under my bare feet. First time going out without shoes this year, and the ground was perfectly springy.

Hawthorne, Welcome to the group! That sounds like a great experience! My favorite thing today is that it isn't yesterday, lol. That I got to speak with a dear, dear friend of mine and I agree! We got a new Pope. Pope Francis the 1st from Buenos Aires. It was very moving. Awesome.

My Favorite thing today is ...I had a flat tire. Admittedly I had to call AAA and have them come out to put air in my tired ( I thought I would need a tow). The guy was not super helpful. He asked if I had a spare, blah, blah, blah. Well, I have a truck and the spare is underneath. THAT is just not happening. So the tow truck driver puts air in my tire, and follows me to Les Schwab. The tire has a big a** nail in it. Here's my favorite thing- I walked to work from the tire place (I was withing walking distance) and got to enjoy the sunshine and sights and sounds of a beautiful morning. I would have not taken the time to appreciate any of that without a flat tire!
Then I got to go to my job, where I am feeling the love, since I had yesterday off for my aunt's funeral service, things are very backed up.

My favorite thing today is the 3 mile walk I took with my son and husband by the ocean. It was gorgeous and I felt like I was doing something "good" for myself.

my grandson has come to visit and today i let him drive my car!!! he just got his permit... was a little scarey at times... but all in all... he did very well... made this grandmaw smile... especially when we got back home... lol...lol :)

at long last... my refridgerator is clean!!!!
