One of my favorite is that when I'm looking at the moon - I know that my friends might be looking at the very same moon at the same time - it makes me feel close to them.

Today my pups are sound asleep right next to me and I love that. We are all very cozy on my bed today - this is definitely one of my favorite things. (It means I have to wash my linens more often but still one of my favorite things.)

I so agree. The moon fascinates me. I do believe we can see the same moon all over the world. Pretty cool stuff.

We are enjoying a full moon this week. Clear skies, tons of stars, Jupiter or Saturn giving us a glimpse. Loving it!

My favorite thing today is coming back to my home after a long road trip.
Theres nothing like the safety and comfort of your own home.
My dog is finally relaxed too. Poor pup gets stressed traveling.

My favorite thing today is being with friends and family and watching some fireworks. My partners son called them pretty falling down lights. I just always thought that was just a great description.

Flowir, You made me LOL! I am still there, so I will say my favorite thing today is that I have a job! Also that I took my new Wizard of Oz calendar to work and got to put it up. Looking forward to a wonderful night at my GA meeting!

I am a little late in answering this question.

Today/tonight I will turn my Christmas tree lights on & also in my Christmas village, looking at the pretty lights glowing in my darkened room, watching one of my traditional holiday movies. You see I find it hard to let go of the season!!!

Aww - mitche - I think that's lovely. It really is a wonderful feeling to quietly watch the Christmas lights - any time of the year.

flowir - did you know that most tall buildings do not have a floor 13? Suspicious people won't stay on or rent space on the 13th floor - so they just number the floors 12 to 14 and leave out the 13th floor - that cracks me up.

Today it is 45º - one of my favorite things this week - we've gotten out of the 30's. Wow - I didn't realize that winter could be so harsh (to me 30º weather is harsh) I feel badly for those of you who live in areas that have weather in the teens.

Mitche, I'm with you! We still have a couple days before "the twelve days of Christmas" is over. I always think of Miracle on 34th Street when Kris Kringle says "Christmas isn't just a time of year, it's a state of mind". So, I guess we can have Christmas all through the year. The love, the generosity, even the lights! Why not? Anyway, thanks for that. Hopefully I will join you in watching a Holiday movie. I didn't get to watch One Magic Christmas yet this year. The movie with Mary Steenburgen. Have you seen it? Love to all, and Yes, LJ -gotta agree with you there. That's harsh, and I always feel for those people in those cold climes.

I know it is a tad early but my fave for today will be yoga. I promised to begin the year on a good trend by going back to yoga weekly. Kinda got out of sync. So yoga......get ready.

LJ and Atticus, sometimes being cold is good cause it increases the cuddle possibilities. Just sayin! LOL
