Yes, it does sound like permanent PMS on the cognitive emotional instability. I know the last thing you need is another prescription, but maybe a mild anti-depressant would help even your emotions out?
If you have emotional outbursts for no apparent reason, it could be "PBA". During a "PBA" outburst, what a person is expressing on the outside may not match what he or she is feeling on the inside. The emotional display may be much more intense than your inner emotional state. Or it may be the opposite of how you actually feellike crying when you are happy, or laughing when you are sad. "PBA" is often mistaken for depression, but it is different. It is a neurologic condition, not a psychiatric one. It can occur when certain diseases or injuries damage the area of the brain that controls normal expression of emotion. This damage can disrupt brain signaling, causing a short circuit and triggering episodes of "involuntary emotional expression".

I get this (& it is common with these types of MS caused seizures) But I get this at times during one type of MS caused seizure I get (I get many types) called a "Complex Partial" (which makes me very disoriented to my surroundings & very confused as to what's going on around me)
Sometimes I'll get anxious & confused & disoriented & other times I'll get silly & confused & disoriented. It all depends.
Take care,
Stay sane!
Hehe! It's hard to explain, cause as with us all...we have so many different symptoms, that we don't just have one symptom all the time, you know?
I don't know, I'm getting confused here. Sorry! Some people are gonna read me all wrong & some people are gonna understand, right? :-)
Been a long, hot few weeks, so a lot of symptoms. ..for all of us I'm sure!
I talked to my neuro about it last time but he didn't want add another drug to the mix. I hear that exercise is supposed to help so that is my long term plan (along with finding another partner - LOL).
But yes, welcome to the wonderful world of MS and psychobulbar effect. Some people get the uncontrollable laughing. That would be strange.
I wonder if I can get free Lexapro samples just to try it at some point.
