I believe in God, Mother God and Jesus. i don't believe in organized church stuff, that teaches us to fear

Sorry I had to come in even thougth I am a born again "Holy Roller'. I was once a atheist but I had to investigate this Jesus. I had to decide once and for all whether it was all true, half true or all made up. I will not go into my discoveries right now. It has nothing to do with church buildings, Demoninations, or the rules. Only as an individual responding to the Christ, and we can only do that by the Presance of the Holy spirit, can we understand God living within a person.
I am not going to answer any disagreements in this thread.
I would LOVE to talk with anyone about my search and my discovery, by message communication.

I opened it and I am a pagan. I am not adverse to christian content. If I find something offensive I just close it and move on. But I will admit I was curious.
Just as a christian would be to a title that said "Warning Pagan Content". LOL
I thought maybe I could put in my 2 cents and be nice :)

You know Xiola and Morgaine, I am so blessed! This turned out so much better then I expected. I am so amazed how this shows the respect we really do have for one another, and how mature we can really be. I only hope the comments keep coming. This shows that we can all be at peace with one another and still share our beliefs. Thank you everyone so much, this has been delightful to say the least!

I Just wasn't born that way, nor again.

I was raised Catholic and I have always believed in God and Jesus. But I am not a church goer and I don't believe that you have to be, to have faith. God loves you where ever you are and it doesn't have to be in a church. I have not always expressed my faith, but have always believed. Now after meeting alot of people who do believe and have faith have brought mine back out now to the surface. I want to tell you a couple things, from my past, that made my belief stonger than ever. That is once a while ago I was driving home from being called in to work at 3 am (I did Ultrasound at a hospital) and I fell asleep at the wheel for 5 seconds and was hedding for the divider on RT 80. Something woke me up just as I was gona crash at 80 miles an hour and I swirved straight again. Lets just say I was wide awake after that. I also tried to committ suicide a couple years later, and I was found by my husband that was not supposed to coming home for at least another hour and he saved my life. Now that tells me that there is definately a higher power looking out for me. I just have to say that you believe what you want and I will believe what I want, and hopefully we can all get along.

There are a lot of posts that are speaking more of Religion vs God. I amgoing to borrow Jopyce Meyer's word. I don't have religion....mans interpretation of God's work...I have a Realtionship...igo straight to the Bible and pray and seek wisdom. Not that I am against the word of man but it is just that, the word of man and I don't answer to man. I beleive Jesus Christ died on the cross for me and through Him I amwelcomed into my Father's house, God's Kingdom. Jesus did not love only the Christians....there weren't any yet....but He loved everyone...the people who beleived in Him and those that didn't. He also walked away from those who would not listen.

I do understand that religion upsets some, well that was not the way I meant to say it, cause I dont understand at all why it would upset anyone, if it upsets someone, it is because it makes them uncomfortable because they don't know God on a personal level just yet, or maybe never intend to, and it works on their conscience. That is my take on it all.

I'm sorry, but the satan worshipper thing was funny..lol I'll remember that next Saturday when they come to my door. :P
