I have 'this' to say about 'that'----I have a daughter who has Celiac Disease. As a result, her growth became stunted and at age 21 she is only 4feet-8inches tall. Her height has a Direct effect on her life everyday. She also enjoys more than her share of painful daily physical effects of this disease.......I have Celiac Disease. I am speaking to you as a woman who has 'passed something on to a child'. To say that I should not have had her or my son for that matter--Is fightin' words to me, brings out my Mama Bear. It would be like saying the disease is Bigger and more important-than the Absolute Overwhelmingly Wonderful Spirit That Is In All Of US.....and by the time you get to my age, (which isnt 'that' old)...you too might consider the idea--that it all seems we come here with our own set of lessons....born in bodies that will teach us those lessons.
Having Babies-the ultimate lessons in Letting Go & Letting God.
Keep talking this out with your love and get beyond the point of "feeling horrid"-less a resentment grows.
gave it to ya straight--with a great big ol' hug---

Sept. 28, 2005 (San Diego) -- The most comprehensive genetic study to date of multiple sclerosis has pinpointed a cluster of genes on chromosome 6 as playing the major role in causing the disorder.
The findings will ultimately help doctors to develop better treatments for MS, researchers say.
Researcher Margaret Pericak-Vance, MD, director of the Center for Human Genetics at Duke University in Durham, N.C., says previous studies had already pointed to this area on chromosome 6 as playing a role in MS.
"What's different here is that we now know that it is the major effect -- that is, no other genes have an effect as large on causing MS," she tells WebMD.
Smoches to all of you!!!!!!!
Pregnancy was awesome! I felt great throughout and haven't had a relapse, though there is a 30% increased risk for 3 months after delivery (something else to consider).
At this point, I am absolutely sure I did the right thing. I have a reason to get out of bed every morning and I laugh every single day! Of couse, I hope to never be a burden for her or to pass on this horrible disease--but I also hope to raise her to be strong enough to handle life's challenges and make fabulous changes in the world!
Good luck to you!!!
And like Bobbijo said give ur worries to GOD and you will b good girl!! :~)
