I'm curious to know if anyone is aware of links between MS and thyroid issues? Under active or over active thyroids, or nodules? I recently had some tests done and one of the comments from the doctor was that I had some antibodies present that put me at a higher risks for thyroid issues. That the antibodies could attack the healthy cells.

mine were tested alotin the past few years before being dx'd and were always normal

Hi, I had ms symptoms before I was dx with hypo tiroid , ( can't spell it) .

Thanks for the feedback the Dr. said I am boarderline hypo (under active). I go for a needle biospy of the nodule early next month. Not looking forward to that at all. As for my number they went down which means my thyroid is producing a little better. They plan to monitor the hypothyroidism for now in leui of medication.

i was dx with hashimoto's 24 years ago...only recently..like the last 2 years however have i experienced more problems with my levels..recently had to increase my dose of thyroxine...
