Every time there is a full moon more babies are born, more crimes are committed, the farmers almanac has always went by it for planting.And yes it does cause everything to be extreme and I feel like total crap right now so how does that song go, "Blame it on the moon" "There's a bad moon rising".

I have never followed that stuff but I know the moon has a big influence over the whole earth so I do not doubt at all that it has influence over those who inhabit the earth also. So I will be happy to burn with you Cj!

Greetings gang, someone did't really appreciate my little witch joke, so I answered her email with an apology. I've copied it below so it'll read an open letter to any others who may have been offended:
Hi (Pat),
Remember the adage to never assume? LOL. I've known real witches and I don't have any problem with their belief system.
In fact, they have a lot of valid points. They are just normal people with a their own particular values. There's nothing bad about it.
I was joking, of course. And maybe I assumed incorrectly that people have moved passed the negative history of witches and are more accepting of them. I thought they are fair game to tease like I do with everyone else, whether they are Christians, Jews or anything else.
I don't like prejudice of any type and I don't like hurtful things said about people. If humor is done in a good, kind spirit, I don't think there's anything wrong with it.
Burning a witch to a stake is absurd to our modern way of thinking. And I think that because so many years have passed and few people can actually relate to anyone burning as a witch, the joke isn't a sore spot anymore.
If you were offended, I apologize. It wasn't my intent. If you are a witch, you should be proud of what you are. As long as you don't hurt anyone and it helps you and others, it's a good thing.
Well, I'm glad I clarified my comment and I think I'll post my response too (sans your real name).

My grandmother was a lunar gardener, and she was a devout tea-totaling, no dancing Methodist!
