It was weird~felt like I got lambasted and I didnt even bring the subject up!! It's hard being in this limbo of knowing 'something aint right'....this sister, knowing the same and Yet! at the same time she communicates like she is pissed at ME about it!! I know-blah blah blah-her fear, denial etc.---I dont mean to be cruel concerning her 'feelings'---Im just over it--Im so ready to have an explanation-unlike her I have read a shit load of stuff concerning All the different things it could be--I'm just Not That Freaked Out anymore. NO-I dont want to have MS-but if I do and having to become my Own Best Medical Advocate and educate myself, it seems that I may....then ok-the only thing to do is what ever comes next.
I have learned not to talk to her. Funny, that I dont share my health issues--And! I Still Got an Ear Full!!! Cant win fer loosin'!!!
Take care,
Stay sane!
Truly, Thank you for the laff!!
I think I talk about my MS too much with my closest family when there is something new and scary going on and I can't get it out of my head. I try hard not to dwell about it with other friends and family. Nobody really want to hear about it all the time.
I had a beautiful aunt with MS. We were very close. She spent about a decade in a wheelchair before dying of cancer in her early sixties. Because of her my family knows MS and they took my diagnosis very hard. luckily they are very supportive.
Figureitout, I love your psychosymatic comment. I seriously believe I will "beat" my disease. Maybe this is one of the reasons I am doing well?
The best to all. At least we can discuss our MS with eachother :-)
