I have another question folks. I was awarded social security disability in November 2009, but they also said they would "review" my medical condition in 2012. So what happens if Im better, by finally getting adequate rest by staying at home and finally getting my meds right . Will they take SS away from me.? Has anyone here had a ss review and what is it like?
well i ve not heard of this but am going to look it up- once on disability- we going to have a miracle and not need it anymore- what are they thinking
they are crazy--- just my 2 cents!!
Medicare people over 130% of poverty won't be affected at all as they will not become eligible for medicaid benefits.
People already on Medicaid will be left alone.
And even those who qualify for additional benefits it wont cause a more comprehensive review---I was just speculating that because reply #14 had MOVED, MOVED TO A DIFFERENT STATE,
let me repeat that in case you didn't hear it- I WAS SPECULATING THAT BECAUSE REPLY #14 HAD MOVED TO A DIFFERENT STATE..she moved to a different state, crossed state lines to do it... at a time when the financial limits on Medicare had changed it was taking longer for her to get feed back on her review in addition to having to qualify for medicade in her new state of residence...you know the one she crossed state lines to live in.
I don't see any reason for more comprehensive review for those of us on medicare or medicaid( and staying within the state that the medicaid had been previously approved) Medicare can move without triggering a review in the new state. But moving to a different state while on medicaid may cause a more comprehensive review.
reply #16--- so in response to your question I don't think the new law will cause our disabilyty to be re evaluated.
