It is given to elderly ad patients with the Aids wasting syndrome. They get it in liquid form. I remember you saying you worked with Aids patients as a nursr so maybe you came across it?

That would too make your energy even worse...Try that pill that myideas suggested worth a try....good luck with it all
Prior to my diagnosis in 1995, I was quite overweight. After the DX, I began to lose weight and I lost a lot of weight (like 50 lbs.). Here it is now some 17 years later and I now weigh what I weighed when I graduated from high school.
I don't have a great appetite for anything much either. My doctor doesn't seem to care as she is one of these health fanatics that thinks that anyone that weighs more than 120 lbs. is fat. So, I guess I'm still fat according to her.
That said, I felt better and had more energy when I was heavier. I used to be able to get around a lot more and walked a lot more too.
It is not like I am a rack of bones or anything close to that, but still, to lose 50 lbs. for no reason seem odd to me.
It was after this weight loss that I began having pains in my stomach and I found out I have diverticulitis. I almost died from this problem.
I'm a bit better now but still, not much of an appetite and I sure don't enjoy cooking anymore. :(
I wish I had a better answer for you but I don't.
Take care and try to eat healthy when you do eat!
Your friend,
