So, I've always had "soft" teeth, but the past few years I swear my teeth are rotting out of my head! I've heard that ppl with MS have a higher acidity in their bodies that may contribute to tooth decay but didn't know if anyone else has had this experience.
I used to work for a dentist 10 yrs ago and have always brushed, flossed and gone to a check up every 6 mo.(Basically, I take very good care of my mouth). Now everytime I go they find something new and are shocked about how quickly decay develops. The only thing my dentist can think of is the MS or meds I'm on. I'm not on any typical MS meds, but am taking Naltrexone, birth control and Prozac...this is frustrating, oh yeah, and expensive!
Anyone else noticing this?
