Hey guys, I was wondering if any of you knew why we get so damn hot? this week has been pretty crappy for me for that, but it has been entirely my fault. i was feeling much better and managed to get entirely too drunk last week. i haven't been feeling good all week. i'm constantly on fire and not really sleeping because of it.

so, i need no lectures on booze! i'm off the hooch! but, i was wondering what causes the heat? my guy thought i just felt hot, but wasn't. i made him touch me one night and he was pretty surprised by how much heat my body was radiating. no website or book i have provides information on this, so i was hoping someone here could?

Oh, Wow, I thought I was the only one who got this hot. LIke a couple of others, I also had hysterectomy (11 years ago now) and went into instant menopause. The MS sweats are much worse, though. I used to be freezing all of the time and now I'm hot almost all of the time. I bought my husband one of those blanket robes for the living room and an electric blanket for our bed--I have to have the ceiling fan on--usually on high. I need to invest in a cooling vest or hat.

My head sweats and my hair gets really wet. I never used to sweat and now I sweat like crazy, but my head sweats the most. Does anyone else have the head sweating? My head and chest are the worst for heat. Are there any vitamin or herbal supplements that could help or that anyone has had success with?

I was told by my doctor that the heat is so exhausting to us because of the way our bodies sends signals. even just one degree higher your bodies starts to sweat because it neepds to be cooled down. Pretty much I live inside the house through summer.

the swimming pool helps me alot, it's so relaxing.

someone asked if i was on copaxazone. and no, i'm not on anything yet. we'll see if i need meds when i see my neuro later this month!

    My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper?
