I'm sure a lot of you here remember when the lady was druck driving and killed my 8 year old nephew, well she finally got her day in court and was sentenced to 2-15 years in prison. It is sad that you get more time after your third conviction than you do if you kill someone.

It is sad for both my family and the other lady as she has 2 small kids herself, now without a mother for couple of years, but at least that lady has kids to come home to and them a mom to go to. I pray this brings some closure for my Sister in law and brother in law. Once again thanks for all the prayers and well wish's in the past, present and future. I've included a link

I'm so sorry to hear about the death of your nephew. It is always sad when a young child dies. It is sad for both families. I know the woman did not do it on purpose but she chose to get behind the wheel while under the influenced. This is something she has to live with for the rest of her life. I do not think their could be enough punishment for someone who chose to drive drunk and kill a person. Maybe now your family will be able to come to some closure. My prayers are with both families.

Dave, your family has been through so much. It must have been hard to go through court proceedings but now that it's all over, I hope they can find some closure and healing with time.

There can be no real justice in a case like this. 2-15 years doesn't seem sufficient for the crime that was committed I know. Dave, my heart goes out to your family.

I am so sorry about your loss. It is a shame what alcohol does to people and their families and the others that they hurt or kill.

I hate it. I know what it does to families because alcoholism runs in my family and it so painful. But your loss is forever. This woman will have to live with it forever and I know that she will never get over it as neither will your family.

I am terribly sorry for you and your family Dave! This is a terrible tragedy and I hope that God gives all of you the strength and endurance to move on, however difficult this may be. I can't imagine what you're all going through but I know that over time you will all find hope and be able to recover this shameful and senseless loss.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus).
