I keep having dreams that my mom is alive
DonnaB49
It's been two years and some months since I lost my mom to cancer. I keep telling myself that she would want me to get on with my life but I'm having medical and financial problems. I have been having dreams more often that she is still alive and living at home, in my dream I tell her that we need to let someone know that she is alive and then I wake up and realize that she is gone. Is anyone else experiencing this?

I have these dreams sometimes too. I love seeing her in them. It is so nice to see her face and hear her voice. I have forgotten what it sounds like now. But the dreams are a sweet reminder. I like hugging her in my dreams. I miss that part of reality very much. Hugs to you.

it was a year and half almost when i had the most real best dream ive ever had. non compare to "this dream" ( i dont think it was a dream, she was there to help me, positive of that) she came to me when i was in the hospital after 3 days cuz of a severe asthma attack, it was the firsst time in a year and half, but it wasnt a dream, it was the most wonderful thing ive ever felt in my life. she was outside my room door, and i was like is it really you? and she was wearing her fave purple shirt n fav jeans ( not what i sent her to heaven in, but hey) and she nodded and we hugged for so long and i honestly felt her in my arms, i cant even explain it, she was there with me, i felt her long hair when we hugged, i felt felt her. she was there. , and i felt her long hair she had lost so long ago and i hugged her and i felt how frail she was, but she was so f*ing there, and my brother and neice were there, my neice was in on the hug when i asked my brother if he wasnted to hug her and he said, no, this is your time with her. and we huged a bit more but then the nurse came in to give me my albuterol, and i just cried and cried, for hours, i think it was the happiest tears id ever cried in my life, and i didnt try to stop them. i was in complete amazement that " she heard me and came for me" and it was so f*ing real and what id was forever hoping for but so much more, cuz i went home like 2 hrs after that, it was her telling me i was gonna be ok. and i will never forget it. and me writing this, still, u cant grasp the absolute reality of it. i didnt think she could do something like that, she was only in heaven for like a yr and a half, but she did seriously fight him to the end, and THAT my friends, was my mother.

Alway dream of my late mom who died on 2011 ,I like it when I dream of her because I miss her so much, so dreaming of her gives me that little chance to be with her which I know it will never come back.I love you so much mom and may your soul continue resting in peace.

I've read a lot of books and death is just an end to our life hear. I'm catholic and had many spiritual things happen to me, I know, without a doubt, its not the end. Some day we will be with them again. The thing is we miss them because we can't see them but they are and will always be with us. I play pogo on the internet and one day I was playing 2 ppl in a room and from time to time I played this same person and she said to me your quiet are you okay and I told her what happened. She said to me did you get the FEATHER. I said I don't know anything about a FEATHER. She said you mom will send you one, when least expected and that will tell you she's okay and with you. I said I'll never get a FEATHER, she said yes you will. Well one day, when least expected by mom my recliner was a feather. I thought omg I can't believe this. I've told this to many others about the FEATHER and, believe me, its true, you'll see some day. My prayers are with you and may GOD be with you through your pain and sorrow. tc

I lost my mom to cancer too and it's only been about 6months but in my dreams she's still helpless, bald, skinny. It hurts me to see her in so much pain and every time I wake up, the shock of her not being here pains me more. Idk what these dreams mean but I feel you op. You aren't alone

I'm 14 and my mom passed away about 7 months ago. I haven't had a dream with her in it in months. I really miss her and the dreams. It almost feels like she is here and I wish there was a way that I could have the dreams more often. After the dreams I would wake up and reality would hit me. But if I had the dreams every night then it wouldn't make this whole thing so hard. I'd look forward to night and being able to see her again.

I had the same dreams, it's normal. She also died from cancer. Your faith will help you through this, ask God for guidance and strength.

My mum died when I was three from cancer and it’s been 12 years since she passed. I had a dream not long ago that she was alive in the present but she was in bed dying. I don’t know what it means but In the dream we were both cuddling and crying.
