Motherless Daughters Community Group
For any daughter who has lost their mother, whether through Death (if it's been one day ago or 40 years ago) or Abandonment, (i.e.-drug abuse, mental illness, physical or emotional abuse, etc.) and is working through the grief process. This group provides unconditional support and understanding from women who have also lost their Moms and who truly care.
Hugs to you~ Rachel
Her death had a huge impact on me. I also got sick shortly after she died and am struggling with my health and finances as a result of my illness to this day.
One of the worst things I experience, however, to this day.........is the kind of dream you have just before you wake up........when I think she is still alive and all is well..........only to wake up and have that remaining
grief grip you like you are hearing the news for the first time. I understand what you are going through.....it is almost like post traumatic stress.
IT used to happen repeatedly during the first two years, then gradually became less frequent.........now it happens only once in a great while.
But whenever it happens, it just plain HURTS !!!!
and I wake up to feel this warmness around me, as if she had just hugged me. it's one of the best feelings I've had, since I lost her. you are in my thoughts & prayers, and I hope you get to feel that calm, warm feeling
I get to feel every once in a while
I try to journal my dreams. About 4 months back, I had the most amazing dream every since ma's passing. She was sitting by my bedside and when I started crying, seeing her, she hugged me and said "don't cry mamma, I'm here, I'm right here". It felt so REAL!!! I could feel the warmth of her skin against mine, I could smell her perfume!!!! If this isn't real, I don't know what is.
Take care all of you...
