But how awesome that you are at 16 weeks. This reminds me of a friend of mine (it has a good ending). She had a son. Several years later tried for another. Tried IVF---embryos didn't make it to transfer. Kept trying to get pregnant and had at least 2 more losses.
She reached a point where she gave up. Her dr. said she would probably need donor eggs.
So she was convinced she was infertile. Only to discover a couple months later when she was getting her gallbladder scanned...that she was 16 weeks pregnant. All natural.....no intervention.
She was so convinced she couldn't get pregnant that she mistook the morning sickness for gallbladder symptoms. And the missed periods she thought were b/c she was in pre-menopause.
I just wanted to share this because that pregnancy is now a healthy almost 8 year old girl :)
Even when she believed she couldn't have a healthy pregnancy..it happened.
I am wishing you the very same. I'm sorry to hear about the loneliness....that the support system is so far away.
In all honesty ....through this journey I have felt closer to the women here on this site than most people in my non-virtual world.
Because the women on here understand.
There is another support group on here that you might want to join as well. It's called Pregnancy After Loss/Infertility.
Where everyone understands your angst. I completely understand it.
Sending good thoughts your way.
