I in fact ran into one of my cousins the other day at a family reunion. I had a miscarriage 7 months ago, and by the way I am still extremely heart broken over losing my baby. No one told me my cousin was pregnant so when I got to the party it was obvious she had a bun in the oven. I got to talking with her husband and he has the nerve to say "I'm not exactly thrilled to be having a girl." With that statement I had a revelation that people are ignorant about realizing having a child is a miracle. I would love to say I yelled and screamed at him, but in fact I felt sorry for him. He was disappointed about having a perfectly healthy baby girl. Just imagine what he will miss out on if he continues to feel this way.
I have one more thing to add, now that you and all the other women on this support site have had a miscarriage, don't you feel that you appreciate children, and pregnancy much more than any other woman that has not gone through this horrible experience? I know that this has made me a stronger person, and I know I will cherish every moment with my child.
