im genuinely afraid now. i have state medical, and there is only one person around here who accepts it, and they will not see me.
i have EXTREMELY INTENSE anger issues since my miscarriage, and they are escalating, i cant control it, its not even me.
im afraid i will hurt someone, im afraid if someone looks at me wrong or cuts me off in traffic i will hurt someone. i do not have the money to pay for a counselor, im not sure who to talk to. anyone else been through this? im sure its the hormones, cause i have some kind of deficiency, and losing the baby really messed me up, but how do i get through this? im taking it day by day, but im afraid, i feel like a walking bomb.

Outpatient therapists through your local hospital should take state medical insurance. In general, the larger the clinic, the more likely they are to take state insurance. Most private clinicians don't deal with state insurance because it generally doesn't reimburse them well, but hospitals have to accept it. If things seem really bad, you can go to the ER and talk to the crisis clinicians. Also, you could try to see if there's a hotline that feels applicable-- maybe the Samaritans? Hang in there.

Even if you find a nice middle of the road, non-denominational church, someone should be able to help you.

hey guys thanks, just an update.
the only place that takes the coupon, and who the hospital refers to refuses to see me because they said i have to have proof of an ongoing mental condition. they were very rude and i see no reason to go there or how it would help me. as far as churches go, around here, it would be worthless, people are very opinionated and to get help you would have to be christian or catholic, and i am niether, so i guess im going to have to figure this out somehow on my own.

Can you find out if the hospital has a support group for women who have had miscarriages (or call your OBGYN)? Mine did and I took them up on it. It was very helpful.

I just looked up a crisis talk line in Washington State, and they should be available to talk and probably to refer you to someone. They're usually connected.

thanks all again, im still looking, i have a dr appt tomarrow for my knee with a new doctor, maybe he can help from that office, but the hotlines, everthing all refers me back to that one place, i think i called every number in the phone book!!! there is however one group out here, they say there is supposed to be a meeting nearby, however i have not recieved a call back and the other ones are too far to drive. this is all very frustrating, its hard to not just give up. its quite ridiculous really, how little help there is, if i had money i would be fine.
but havent worked much since the ordeal

What about a local mental health clinic? Here the local psych center, most common place for Baker Acts, does referels. I know how frustrating it can be. I have insurance but the copay is $40 and I can't afford that. Since I have insurance the not for profit places can't see me.

I am learning, more and more everyday, that WA state sucks, just SUCKS.
and i also just want to add, that, I HATE MONEY. why did we have to advance technologically and make money???
what was wrong with doing work for someone, or trading things you make??? but NOT anymore.
ugh. if you have money,sure we will help you, if not, and you are not SEVERELY SEVERELY messed up, then screw it. i have my dr appt for my knee today, i hope he can help. other than that, pffft.
