Married for 10 yrs, after last deployment to Afghanistan my husband came back cold, distant, indifferent. Finally he admitted he wasnt happy and he wanted a divorce. I begged, I cried, I screamed, nothing worked. He says their is no other woman, that is him not me (so cliche), that he still cares about me but wants to get a divorce cause he is not happy. Finally after 6 months he decided to move out. I am hurt, in pain, I still dont understand what went wrong. We have 3 chidlren together and he wants to remain friends, he still calls me just to talk and ask how am I doing. Is like a roller coaster of emotions, mad, upset, sad, frustrated. I have to let him go but I dont know how, still love him and I miss my best friend.

Your husband may have post traumatic stress. It is a hard adjustment to switch from being "vigilant 24/7" to being a part of a couple/family man/everyday daily living activities.
Take a deep breath. Relax. Find a way to put some fun back into your daily living activities, and smile, till it reaches your eyes.
Hang in there, and know you have support with daily strength.
