Well, I took the comment the same way that tleak took it. Unfortunately, budgets get tight, even in the private sector you have to bring your own water. When they are out in the field its a differnt argument altogether.

Before making comments that you don't get how people in the military are so proud, you may want to rethink your wording. As far as you and your daughter not being treated well, in what way are you not being treated well?

I wanted to add my H's latest experience. He is in the desert, about 100 degrees with out heat index. He for sure has to buy his own water. But.. they give him per diem to buy what ever he needs. The Army barracks they sent them to where so bad, rats, roaches, scorpions, asbestoses in the walls and ceilings falling down. Four guys to a room. They moved them after one night to a local hotel. And it all goes on his gov credit card. Not to mention what ever is left over from per diem, he gets on his next check. He is a tight wad too. So they just have to spend their money wisely, and as my H puts it, He I'm not on vacation.. his words not mine. He working now not in a war zone, but is pretty well taken care of. I am Always proud of all the people serving too.

You are correct Dixe4me i am ashamed and not proud of how we are treated. I am very proud of my husband and everyone who serves in the military. I have two brothers who also serve. One in the army and one in the marines. One has been in for 8 yrs and the other for like 25. I am proud just not proud of thinsg that happen on post. And to answer your question maggie They refuse to tell us our daughters bloodtype. the doctros lie to me tellign em they called in tests and the didn't. I called in to get my birth control and they called ina new birth contrl for me. They have showed me everytime i go in that they don't know what they are doing. The nurses are great. they know more then the doctors. Also the doctor got upset because she diagnoised me wrogn so she wrote a rude comment in my medical file. Anytime i have a question or have gone to the er they make me or me with my daughter feel like a huge inconvenience. i will never go to that er again since we live further from base now and closer to a better hospital. i will switch to the other insurence so i can go off base and hopefully get some real help. M poor husband has a messed up knee. It took two years until someone finally looked at it and he had 6 different people tell him 6 diffent things wrong with it. There is so much but i am not gonna go on and on and on. Iguess a lot of people are lucky on there base and with there doctors. But we're not
