Migraine is a neurological disease, of which the most common symptom is an intense and disabling episodic headache. Migraine headaches are usually characterized by severe pain on one or both sides of the head and are often accompanied by photophobia (hypersensitivity to light), phonophobia (hypersensitivity to sound) and nausea.

I am jumping from the fibro. support to migraine because since I have started having hot flashes I think maybe it is what is causing my increase in migraines. Basically every day. Exhausted and wondering if anyone out there has seen this happen to them. I've had migraines since I was 13. But it is getting a bit ridiculous. Has this happened to anyone else?

I'm sorry you are going through this. I have migraines every day, but not due to menopause. I've had them since I was 7. The started to become every day after I went through chemo when I was 30.
Are you on any time of hormone therapy? For my mother, menopause did not mean the end of migraines. In fact, they got worse for quite a few years.

I have migraines everyday too and it is because of menopause partially. Have you had your eyes checked recently to make sure your optic nerves are not swollen? This will cause the daily migraines.

There is a rare disease out there called Intracranial Hypertension (IIH) that targets women who are hitting menopause. Just something else to consider if you haven't gotten your eyes checked recently.
