Migraine Headaches Support Group
Migraine is a neurological disease, of which the most common symptom is an intense and disabling episodic headache. Migraine headaches are usually characterized by severe pain on one or both sides of the head and are often accompanied by photophobia (hypersensitivity to light), phonophobia (hypersensitivity to sound) and nausea.
I have been seeing my eye doctor since July for a cornea infection that just won't go away, I can't begin to tell you all the med's I've been on and none have helped. Yesterday I saw a cornea specialist for the second time and feel like I am just getting the run around he now thinks I may have a herpes virus in my eye, this is the only explanation he can come up with because I have tried everything else. Currently I am on 6 different medications for my eye that's not counting the ones I've been taken off of the newest med is Zoviraz 400 mg 4x a day. The doctor definitely believes my migraines and my eye problem are related, as if I didn't know this.
I am beginning to get so discouraged and angry, I have to see this doctor again in 2 weeks and if nothing has changed I really don't know what I'm going to do. I just needed to vent a little thanks for listening.

Sorry you are going through this. I'm just wondering if you can explain more about how your eye infection is related to your migraines.

I haven't found anything about migraines and eye infection, but did find quite a bit about how common is it for herpes virus in the eye. I hope you get it figured out.

When I asked the doctor if he thought my migraines could be related to my eye he said "certainly because you are straining your eye" I also have tri-germinal neuralgia and it effects the left side of my face, although this hasn't bothered me since I was first diagnosed and put on medication (carbamazepine). I am beginning to think this dr. is grasping at straws, if I don't get some kind of answer at my next appointment I am asking for a second opinion.

Hi... I was just looking for support groups and came across this site. I was just diagnosed with NHL specifically Folicular Lymphoma (Large B-Cell type) and I guess it would just be nice to talk to people who have been through this. I'm 28 F and I'm a new mom, my life has changed drastically in the last two years and now this diagnosis has really gotten me down...I had a CT scan done last week...

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
