Menopause Support Group
Menopause is the physiological cessation of menstrual cycles associated with advancing age. It normally occurs in women between the ages of 45 and 55, when the body begins to slow and stop the production of eggs, estrogen and progesterone production decreases, and menstruation diminishes, eventually stopping altogether.
I think the hardest thing for me is to give in and admit I feel crappy most of the time now. I try so hard to fight it. In some ways, I know this is good - going for a walk, sleeping a little later in the morning. I can relate to what you are all saying. I certainly don't have any certain answers other than that I pray everyday also for God's help with all of this. I need to learn to take one day at a time. I think we have to remember that we are all strong woman. We've gotten this far, haven't we? Good luck to you all in finding moments that are peaceful and joyful!
Me, I drink a cuppa "Tension Tamer" and it knocks all that anxiety, tension, etc., right on the head.
I too drink herbal tea's such as Tention Tamer, sleepytime tea, and a few others. I really enjoy them and they really do help with different "happenings". I've been drinking them for about 8-10 months now.
Very refreshing!
