Menopause Support Group
Menopause is the physiological cessation of menstrual cycles associated with advancing age. It normally occurs in women between the ages of 45 and 55, when the body begins to slow and stop the production of eggs, estrogen and progesterone production decreases, and menstruation diminishes, eventually stopping altogether.
I am 45, still have periods, although they are getting farther apart. Does anyone have anything they can suggest for the leg pain? I am having trouble getting around. An xray showed arthritis in my tailbone, but is that causing this much pain????
Has anyone taken medication to lose weight? I'm about ready to ask my dr. about this.
Thanks
Tricia
Just went to a new GYN yesterday. She is going to do an ultrasound of my ovaries next week and if ok, she will be putting me back on the FDA approved bio identical hormones. It can't come soon enough. I am so tired of feeling this way.
Good luck to everyone!!

Also try keeping your legs raised when you do get home ,or soak in the bath ,i find that really soothes it.
