Anyone have Rheumy recommendations in Memphis? I don't feel comfortable with my doctor and I wonder if there are any other options. Thanks.

I'm sorry DSRM, I don't know of a doctor in Memphis. Maybe you could check with your primary care doc for a recommendation. Mine gave me the names of two and let me choose who I wanted to go to.

Another thought is contact a large medical center or hospital in the area or even a local support group might be able to give you some recommendations.

You can always contact the Lupus Foundation to get names of drs. in the Memphis area that deal with Auto Immune conditions. Also, check to see if there is a Lupus Support Group in your area. Ihope this helps and you can find a good dr. I know how important that is.

Hey DSRM...I live in Memphis, TN. Is this where you live?? I have been through 3 Rhuemy's here and on my 4th who I really like a lot. He is with UT Medical Group, Inc. I do not stay in close contact with this site so I don't know what I can say or not say. Love to talk to you!!!!!

I know Little Rock may seem like a far drive, but the Little Rock Diagnostic Clinic has many Rheumatologists and this is where I go. You should definitely check them out. I love my doctor!
