Hi everyone,
I would love some advice as I am really confused!
About four years ago I became ill my main syptoms were fatigue, weight loss, mood changes, a postive ANA, back and knee pain. I was told I had chronic fatigue syndrome and to try taking anti depressants if I felt like I couldn't cope.
About a year ago I went back to the doctors pledding for help as I was struggling to cope at university as I am exhusted all the time. The doctor put me on anti depressants for 9 months, nothing changed if anything i became more depressed.
I then saw a different doctor who suggested it may not be cfs but another condition as I have had a postive ANA and a red rash on my face and neck which aren't consitant with cfs syptoms.I have done some reading and found out that a postive ANA can present in lupus cases.
Does this sound like it could be lupus?
