Lupus Support Group
Lupus is an auto-immune disease in which the immune system cannot distinguish between threats (like viruses and bacteria), and healthy cells and tissue. As a result, the body produces antibodies that inflict cell damage, most commonly targeting joints, skin, kidneys and the nervous system. Join the group and find support for coping with lupus.
Sleep is important I know I definately can tell a difference between days that I sleep and days when I don't get sleep. If I don't get any, I am flaring the whole next day. If I sleep, I am definately at my best and the fatigue isn't near as bad.
I am tired most of the time it is normal to be fatigued. I have no answer of a remedy. B-12 shots helped me sometimes.
I too have a harder time in the summer than the winter because of the heat and humidity in Florida. It makes me hot, tired, muscles hurt, headaches, breathing problems, etc. I have to take a nap every day and can still sleep at night. I'm just always fatigued.
