I try to tell myself that things could certainly be worse than they are. Sometimes I get irritated with my neighbors, but then I stop and think "if that thing they are doing right now is the only thing they do that bugs me, I would call that a darn good neighbor" and let it go.
I can think of several relationships that I am no longer in, and happy to be rid of, in all honesty. I almost married a man whose mother was so difficult, I think I'd rather have been single forever than have to deal with her! When we broke up, the first words out of her mouth were "Son, what did YOU do now?!" Poor guy. haha
"What if ,,, I was in a relationship that has some problems,, and those issues are not resolved or I am unable or unwilling to rectify them to anyone's satisfaction".
This question assumes that the problems are being caused by you alone.
In that case you either have to change your attitude or behavior or admit that you are incompatible with your partner.
My guess is that your emotional happiness will not change much whether you continue in the relationship or not.
We all have to deal with crap almost every day of our lives. Some crap is easy to deal with and some is really hard to deal with.
However, your life might be easier if you resolved the issue by ending the relationship.
The best advice I can give you is to "stop thinking"!! Empty your mind.
