U get used to loneliness. And when u accepted, it will stop to hurt u.
I try so many years to find friends, and all I get was pain, treasons, fake smiles and lies. I am diferent. Everything I like other people doesnt. The way I feel or think are the complete opposite of the rest of the world. I can say that I have an old soul.
My advise to u is get a pet. I have 4 dogs and they are my friends, my love, and the reason I fight everyday. My babies are my daughters, and with them, I dont feel so lonely anymore.
Another thought is that we are what we think, and it shows in our demeanor, on our face and our body language. People pick up on it. But don’t take this to heart, it’s just a fact. Work on yourself first and don’t let those isolated/lonely feelings deter you. Learn how to be you and be happy with who you are.
Although the peeps at work are buddies and didn't include me, I get it, I'm just not their cup of tea - and it's a very small workplace. Truthfully, we don't have anything *but* work in common. Who wants to talk shop all night long? And even when I worked in a bigger place, work relationships can be a source of gossip and back-stabbing. I'm also old enough to be their Mom.
So, I do belong to a political group, and I'm joining a quilting group. Neither entity cares where I live or what car I drive. That I'm on meds for depression *and * various age-related health issues is my business, and no one else's.
