Loneliness Support Group
Loneliness is an emotional state in which a person experiences a powerful feeling of emptiness and isolation. Loneliness is more than the feeling of wanting company or wanting to do something with another person. Loneliness is a feeling of being cut off, disconnected and alienated from other people. The lonely person may find it difficult or even impossible to have any...

I’ve met someone, we have connected on a level that I have never experienced before! I’ve often lofted from relationship to relationship, often connecting, but not like this. This is so real, have I been asleep the whole time, have I only now begun to wake up to this reality?
This was an email/blog that my ex-wife sent me, later recanting that it was a blog that was meant to be sent out to a group of friends. As I read her statement, I thought, how nice, she cheated on me, with multiple partners and after so many years, she found her one. In a previous post I discussed Ambiguous Loss, a journey that is long and lonely. I remember, the second year after our divorce, I got tired of the fear, the pain, the anger that comes along with a broken heart. However, I told myself that I would need to let go to feel better, (Something that took me a while).
Yet, that proclamation allowed for protection, whenever she talked about details about the affairs I was not troubled by them, I was glad to be released from her flaky nature. We have two daughters, so we cross paths at family events and logistics. Now, in the middle of my journey of Ambiguous Loss, she has found her “One”? While I choose to look at this as an opportunity to develop/enhance my processing skills. I first must admit that it hurt to hear/read that she found her “One”. Next, I will process both of these and see where I go next.

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
Thank you for your replies.
GreenEyes727, we were married for 7 years, together for 9 years. Two kids, the first one is from her first marriage and the second one we had together,
Tropicaloo, yes, I have blocked her emails, and set a boundary. A boundary of only accepting emails that pertain to our kid.
Perhaps it is her guilt. Perhaps she is seeking attention. Perhaps she is inflicting pain.
You, my friend, have to see that this is not about you as yourself. It is about her own personality defects and character defects. Do not blame yourself for her inability to "be normal." She would have done an "oops" if I was her former husband.
As someone who has a family full of people like this, please know that "the one" she has currently found will very likely not last either. All those affairs during your marriage were her fantasy life or her narcissism and if I was betting, I would say this is simply another fantasy. Very wise to be glad to be released from whatever hold the past has on you. Now you can keep the focus on your beautiful children and maybe providing them with the emotional stability or good character that is absent in their mom.
