Loneliness Support Group
Loneliness is an emotional state in which a person experiences a powerful feeling of emptiness and isolation. Loneliness is more than the feeling of wanting company or wanting to do something with another person. Loneliness is a feeling of being cut off, disconnected and alienated from other people. The lonely person may find it difficult or even impossible to have any...

Do you consider the good in being solo? Some of the positive good things to me about being alone, I got noone to nag me. Everytime I get close to people or live with someone they pick, nag, get in my business too much, and make disrespectful comments. I am used to living for myself with noone to control me. I make my own choices. When I lived with someone 15 years they started to become controlling and abusive after 10 years. I got too comfortable for my own good. This person I lived with caused me to be homeless which has been a blessing in disguise.

I got an email from Kohl's that I had a 40% off coupon for today and tomorrow only. It took me about an hour but I placed an order and got some great deals. I have been wanting a new dress. I like dressing up sometimes. My birthday is coming up and I have dinner plans at a nice restaurant. But, honestly, I'm a little out of control again. I went through this in the fall. I bought...

Has anyone else noticed that clearly speaking and doing things intentionally is liberating because it helps combat the feeling of depression and a sense of hopelessness? Let me share a little more: in my experience, when those who have tried to project a hidden agenda that is obviously not aligned with integrity and well-being, it's best to be firm and speak clearly from self-awareness and...

So as long as you are happy, it will be fine.
I have an extreme need for companionship but that's just me. I need someone to care for and to care about me.
HOWEVER---- it's great to be alone but when Loneliness sets in, it's hard. Two different things. Like rianbooyer stated above, when I'm alone too much my mind gets the best of me.
Also, I need to tell you that I'm older than you, and from my experience, when you get older, it gets harder, and you will NEED people in your life. Either way, it's not easy at all. I wish it was, but it's not. Good luck to you, and I'll be thinking about you.
And the ambient room temp is always just right for your skin. The furniture is positioned exactly where where you want it to be. Right where you left it.
If you accidentally pee on the bathroom wall or ceiling.... it's not a big deal. And so on and so forth.
Of course the down side is how lonely, dull, boring it gets. No one to talk to or joke around with. Or serve you breakfast in bed, Or give you a body massage, or a hug when you need one.
Damn, I'm making myself sad typing this. But on the bright side, there are hummingbirds outside my door. They are my companions. I'm thinking of moving the bird feeder indoors, Be cool to have hummers flying around my motel room. And if they pee on the ceiling?.... it's not a big deal.
When I am involved with people I find myself taking care of every one else.
I Choose to give my love to few people because I do not attract people who give back as much as they gain from me emotionally or physically and it can be emotionally draining when there is no 50/50. I take relationships very seriously. Anyone can hug, say they love you, or show brief affection. How many really mean it? When we have self love we are content and do not need other's to make us feel good about ourselves..
