I couldn't stay still and stay in the house all evening so I went to the gym, how sad is that? I was surprised there were others there too, I guess not everyone has an exciting night. it felt good to get the exercise, I would of liked to have gone to the movies but that wasn't to happen. I could of found many things to do here in the house but I was agitated again with danny and had to get out, besides I need something to fill today with. we are getting another snow storm, starting this afternoon till Tuesday morning! it is depressing even though I have lived in the northeast all my life it gets tiring come februrary. I have no place to shovel the snow to, the hills of snow are to high. I have a very early morning tomorrow and it will be earlier still with having to get up earlier, I will be up at 4:15, yuck. my anxiety hasn't left me and I just feel down. it is interesting how people at work, even at my other store, until they now the situation think I am divorced, they even say it to me. so now in the new store, new people, I have to re live the story again and it is painful, the time seems like yesterday then. even though it has been 25 years I still miss peter so much and I have him in the back of my mind every day, is that normal? it is not that I don't want to meet someone I do, but I will never let go of m feelings, he is always in my heart, but there is room for another bt there is no one. I don't help myself with this, I don't put myself out there, rejection, scared and the feeling of such ugliness. I need to find a way over these feelings or I will die an old lonely lady.

I invited Bill to have dinner with me last Sunday. He wasn't willing to drive 7 hours to mid Michigan and teased me with his beautiful ribs!!! So, of course I ate alone and had cedar salmonĀ

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

I do not know what the world holds for you but if your in NE someplace look up meetup.com and join an older persons singles group and some other groups to get yourself out there....it sure as helps the loneliness....it is because you choose which events you wish to attend of those the organizers plan for your group....most groups are free or may collect a $1 at the event to offset costs....my group, singles over 50 I instituted a $3 yr member dues....so they pay to be members....we had almost 500 members and dropped significantly down to about 75 when the trial period was over but those members who did not pay were inactive as well....if they cannot afford $3 and no other fees but whatever the event costs are like dinner or baseball tickets they are tight wads...LOL
but I like you have a gym to get out to....I hate to work out....hate exercise....abhor it...LOL but my goal is to buy bike to ride to get a bit of exercise
I have looked into meet ups, joined a few even, but I cant seem to get myself to go. I cant stand myself for this, I am my own worst enemy. I have good intentions even tell my sister I am going to some event then back out. I don't know what to do.
Its good you can go to the gym and exercise indoors. Theres nothing wrong with going on a Saturday night. We dont all have to conform to the same weekly schedule - and besides its actually not that uncommon to exercise on a Saturday night...
I know the feeling of getting fed up with the snow in February - and knowing it wont be going away any time soon. So far Im doing OK this year. Sometimes when it snows a lot in April I feel Im going crazy about the weather and "eternal" snow.
Any word about the job at the vets?
I'm sorry for the loss of your husband. I think it is wonderful that he is still so much in your thoughts all of these years...showing how much you loved him and the respect you have for that live.
In your case, I think it is ok to fall in love with someone, while still keeping your love for your former husband in your heart. You just need to give yourself permission to love again.
I hate to work out....but I want to by a bike to attempt to work out riding round places that I would just decide to get on bike and go to...like the Frozen Custard stand down the road or the Taco Bell...LOL
ok so I am a comedian tonight...sue me! LOL
