ahhh my dreaded night of all nights. I did get some good advice from a friend on DS, she has what she calls a woo hoo jar and puts in slips of paper with something positive that see did. when she is feeling down she pulls out one and it helps her lift up. I am going to try and write some slips tonight, if I am truthful with myself I will acknowledge that I have tried hard and succeeded nin many obstacles this year, not perfect but I need to pat myself.
I am feeling anxious already this morning, the mornings are hard for me, I am hoping when I go back to work, after the 15th this will end as I will not have time in the morning to dwell on the day ahead.
I am getting worried about my doggie nala, she is losing weight, even the groomer last night asked me if she had been sick. when she last went to the vet, she has shar pei fever, she had lost 4 pounds but the vet said she is in the right weight range, well she doesn't look like it. I have been feeding her more and the scale at the vet is on the porch so I am going to weigh her today and if she has lost more weight make an appt. I cant lose her, I have only had her for 3 years and she is the sweetest dog.
it is just awful the feeling of what looms ahead in the course of the day, I look forward to my nap time and when it is bedtime. I try and keep busy, the mornings are busy, then have my lunch around 1 and then I nap and then I wake up feeling dread. does anyone else feel like this?

I invited Bill to have dinner with me last Sunday. He wasn't willing to drive 7 hours to mid Michigan and teased me with his beautiful ribs!!! So, of course I ate alone and had cedar salmonĀ

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

May need to go to another vet to have your nala checked on
Yesterday I, finally got tranquillisers and am back closer to the realities of everyday life. Its amazing how some medications can act as pain killers for the mind. Though the tortuous anxiety has backed off, the news that a lovely cat Id cared for in the cat shelter was found to be seriously sick and had to be put down was obviously a huge blow and led to tears today. I understand your worry about Nala. I do hope shell get better. Give her a hug from me to!
Do try the woo hoo jar and keep in touch in 2015!
at midnight, when all the other residents
were outside in the cold watching the
fireworks that were going off over the
Strip. 8 long minutes of them. One year
is the same as the next for me.
I am nor real sick right now w UC, or tummy virus, not having weird joint pain flare that they refuse to diagnose. (my dx psoriatic arthritis...but will take medical professionals another 2 - 5 years to acknowledge it) not particularly depressed...just as u say..feeling of dread.
