im new to this site. I am also new to the area where I currently live and don't know anyone. My loneliness has been increasing, as has my depression. Hoping to connect with some friendly people!

Hi welcome and I suggest looking for some meetup groups where you live....if they are small town area the meetups might be farther away than normal but if you are in major metropolis they should be dime a dozen to join....are you married? if not then join the singles in your age group in meetup and get out and go! woot woot....hugs bill

Welcome to the group. I think that Billwfriend's idea of joining meet up is a great idea. I had a counselor who told me about meet up and I found a wonderful day trip group in the area where I live and I've been able to see stuff that I never knew about or having fun going to attractions with the group. Check the website out and do a search for something you're interested in. There are tour groups, groups that go for walks and ones that go to museums, bowling, etc.
