I'm not a member of this group but wanted see what the other groups were about. But I have had anxiety issues in the past and it does create extra stress than normal in any situation. It's hard to do but the only thing that has helped me is to be able to take a couple of steps back even if it's family and regroup. If I don't then I'm too close and becomes unclear. Past of what your husband is saying is right about not being able to make decisions for others but at the same time there is some worry involved. I at times have to recite the serenity prayer and it actually works. All you can do is offer up your opinion to your mom and then do the best you can to step back. My mother did not listen to me to often either. Never got the exams she needed and wound up with ovarian cancer that could have been avoided if only she would have listened but it was ultimately her choice. If you have siblings maybe they need to get more involved if not already. Anyway take care of your self and try to take a step back for clarity.
Peace, Tim
