Yea, I'm not so sure about this forum after being here little over a week. Where are all the posts?
I check back a few times a day to see if anything new gets posted but there's nothing, nada. I just don't get it.
In any case, I did read your journal entry on the unemployment problem, and Congress is just ignoring it, as well as the Obama administration. We're basically on our own until the next show drops, which according to Paul Craig Roberts could arrive by Xmas time.
If you checked out the shadowstats webiste you will see that the real unemployment rate is over 20%. The only suggestions I've come up with is to take retirement at 62, or hope you can be put on disability somehow. I'm in a similar situation but at least a decade from SS "retirement".

I've been underemployed for 10+ years now and I have 2 degrees but I work for relatives and basically had to become a quasi business consultant and create my own position. I basically do 5 seperate jobs and make very little money doing it.
Also, it really is amazing how silent the MSM has been in disucssing these issues but you could see this developing a good 20 years ago when all the pundits kept talking about the future "service economy" and offloading "dying" industries to China. Any nation that would do such a thing is committing economic suicide or there is something else going on.
