Loneliness Support Group
Loneliness is an emotional state in which a person experiences a powerful feeling of emptiness and isolation. Loneliness is more than the feeling of wanting company or wanting to do something with another person. Loneliness is a feeling of being cut off, disconnected and alienated from other people. Furthermore, at 8 years old she may have really believed that grabbing a card out in reach obviously, and probably coached by an older child she may have really thought they were free? How many times are we screwed until the last sign up page of a so called free item or service on the net? With that said, it sounds like your friends children need major parenting, long before they arrived on your scene.
The fact you are smart and wise enough not to have children and choose not to be around them is actually just fine in my book. I have children and love them dearly, but sure do not want nor ask anyone that doesn't like kids to watch them?
Seems maybe your friend list that ask you to sit for them, and you are kind enough to say yes, even though you don't even care for the "task" seems odd to me.
And yes, there sure are TONS of people out there that have children that should have never been given the opportunity, and many that so want children and cannot have them. With that said, as someone mentioned, this isn't China, thank God.
And when meeting people you say you don't put it out there, but sometimes when we are so adamant about a particular life style or belief we don't even realize how obvious we are. My BF who is narcissistic comes to mind. He pushes religion down peoples throats until they vomit. He goes about it all wrong .But believes he is doing it correctly. Maybe you do as well but are not aware? Just an idea.
I would love to have a child. But, logically, I know that's not a sound choice for me at this time. I'm dealing with depression, health issues, and financial issues. As much as my heart aches for a tiny baby to love and take care of, my brain tells my heart to STFU because I'm not in a good position to take care of myself 100%, let alone another life.
It takes more to raise a kid than simply "liking kids" and "making all the right choices". You have to be mentally ready to take on the task as well as the "superficial" reasons like finances and having a decent home. Many people think they are ready and they do the best they can, but they end up churning out a adult who's less than functional in society. Ones who thinks it's ok to tear down others for not having their same belief systems. Because, apparently, people who don't believe in what you believe don't deserve respect as a human being.
