Loneliness Support Group
Loneliness is an emotional state in which a person experiences a powerful feeling of emptiness and isolation. Loneliness is more than the feeling of wanting company or wanting to do something with another person. Loneliness is a feeling of being cut off, disconnected and alienated from other people. My husband was my only family after my parents died. We were married for 25 years and during that time I never felt lonely. Then in 2017 he passed away and now I feel all alone with no support. I feel like I have no life--I'm just existing. Every day is the same. I'm in a personal care home (I never should have given up my apt) and I lost my car. all my possessions and my pet cat passed away. So many losses. I'm kicking myself that I didn't even take my beautiful engagement ring with me. I missed my husband's funeral because his brother never called me to tell me when it was. I've never been to my husband's grave site. We used to cuddle together on a regular basis. I miss that so much. I can't remember the last time I got a hug from anyone. I'm not living in my hometown--I can't afford to move back there. This town in 27 years never felt like home. I'm in so much pain and I don't know how to move on.

But my life still feels extremely lonely (maybe I'm feeling empty bc everyone I cared for is now gone. After 25 years of caring I now have a big hole in my life). Of course I asked AI how I can get more out of...

Just thought I would join this group now that I am a widower. My wife passed away May 28th. She was "The Wind Beneath My Wings". When I met her, I was a drunken, dope smoking, fighting, hell raising biker. She told me if I could get rid of the inner storm within me, that I could be a blessing to people. God placed her in my path to stop me. I have been drug and alcohol free now for 53...

i've tried finding friends outside her social circle but it's been really hard.. people can be so fake sometimes especially the ones you meet online but i'm disabled so it's hard for me to be able to go out and about to try and meet people.. so online is about the only place i can try and talk to people..
but anyways.. sorry again about everything you've had to go thru and are still going thru.. i'll say a prayer and try and send some happy vibes your way if it'll maybe help..
take care and God bless,
