Loneliness Support Group
Loneliness is an emotional state in which a person experiences a powerful feeling of emptiness and isolation. Loneliness is more than the feeling of wanting company or wanting to do something with another person. Loneliness is a feeling of being cut off, disconnected and alienated from other people. The lonely person may find it difficult or even impossible to have any...
my rural hometown passed a law about no smoking in the downtown park, with people being patted down if caught smoking----amazing how a pat down law got rid of the homeless in the park.
And this park is right opposite a building for the elderly. The buses also park there, and I worried of getting on a bus for the day when everybody knew where I live.
Enough of the homeless in my hometown have prison muscles.
Decades ago, I was told of one of the homeless hanging a cat they killed from a railroad trestle as a joke----another memory I forgot about, after being told on this thread what a terrible person..i...am.
"Thankfully"...I met some of these now-homeless back around 1980, and have followed their ever-worsening behavior in the local paper; it's the new homeless I make the mistake of droping my guard around.
I don't want to beat a dead horse, but traumatized me took the short (public transportation) bus to walmart today, partly to calm down....where I not only saw another convicted molester, he even helped me carry my heavy walmart merchandize onto the bus!
That 40-something man lives 8 miles away, in a building for the elderly, probably where he can be kept a watch on, and he does have the excuse of a low i.q.----but the old article I was reading about him just hours prior had him telling the judge he CANT stay away from kids!
My deliverance / penntucky / banjo-vania state really is notorious about such hillbilly redneck criminal behavior being way too common.
While thieves, and other criminals can be rehabilitated and not everyone who is homeless is a criminal, people who want to turn their lives around go to Goodwill, Salvation Army, Catholic Charities for help. They are in programs, as Chris pointed out. The ones people are worried about are the ones on the street, no coat in the cold etc. There is help everywhere. Why don't they get help? Maybe they have something to hide.More people like Penn should stand up and be outraged. Everyone is afraid and intimidated.
I had an acquaintance years ago, her son was molested by her brother when he babysat him. She didn't turn him in. He eventually was caught molesting another child years later. He went to prison. He was murdered there. Even criminals do not stand for anyone molesting children. that says something for our society.
Penn: Don't get into disputes with these guys...but keep an eye out and maybe get a neighborhood watch going. Parents will see you for the hero that you are....brave and caring. (((angel hugs))) to keep you safe and strong.
I'm definitely no hero, having briefly known some of these people back around 1980, when I thought everybody was going through some teen phase to grow out of.
scary and comical at same time: maybe 6 years ago, the bunch living next door stole stuff out of cars at a professional garage a few buildings up the street----and then they sold the stuff to a second hand shop a few buildings down the same street! Of course they got caught, with their sheer stupidity being scary.
A trip to walmart, eating a one dollar corn dog there, and posting some of my memories that I cant bring up in my hometown, has calmed me down.
a 2nd thanks, for the kind words.
the couple who lived in this building since 1980s still don't like me, for crazy reason that I pay my rent on time..? they used to go to bars every night till midnight, on weekdays, and till 2 in morning on weekends, like clockwork, waking me up as they came in. But, they wouldn't have money for rent, and one time their electricity was cut off.
I bought a book at walmart, "how to deal with difficult people", but it had 1960s "leave it to beaver" type advice of going to some neutral place to tell the difficult person how you feel.
I wound up throwing the book away, and just plain slamming my door with two hands the next time the woman gave me a hard time---she didn't talk to me for over a year, till the homeless bunch moved in;)
And yes, there is need for foul language. Because I don't like getting raped by fucking creeps like you who support sex offenders weather they are child molesters or not.
Society knows nothing is as horrendous as crimes against innocent children. Many of us stand behind you and understand your anger.
((((Angel hugs))) to protect you from insensitive people.
Who cares if the other tenants do not like you? Your duty is to be good to yourself, and: As a tenant, your only responsibility is pay the rent on time, do not bother others, and if possible, add some law, order and prosperity onto the community.
I live in an apartment building, never see any of the others, do not care if they never know my name. They're just tenants.
Take care.

I stay off this site now and then cause I'm afraid of being banned, cause there are liberal types who are offended when...convicted criminals...are criticized.
